The West Australian
Through impressing the right people during my studies, I was given the opportunity to contribute to The West Australian Health and Medicine section, along with four other talented journalists from WA. After my intial article, they were impressed by my work and I was able to contribute once more to the section.

Hockey WA
I was contacted by Hockey WA through ECU to step into the breach after their dedicated match reporter quit half-way through the season. So I grabbed the chance and did weekly match reports on two matches to suit both community newspapers and the Hockey WA website. Short Corner madness ahoy!

Northwest Telegraph
Early in 2009 I did some work experience in the Pilbara region of WA, where I was taught how the Pilbara operated, indigenous health issues and the impact the mining operations (BHP, Rio Tino, FMG and Atlas) in the area had on the community. While there, I was able to sneak a couple of articles into the local paper including a story about baby turtles which began at 4:30AM.
